Program Description
Five threads are woven through this 15 hour
course that is a blend of scientific principles and
physical and spiritual healing. Threads include
increasing the capacity of the healer, spiritual
healing, healing techniques, principles of physics,
and self-care. We will explore simple principles of
sound, electricity, and magnetism to begin to create
a model of an energetic being that resembles
energy healers’ experiences. Then, we will use
those principles in several healing techniques and
in a series of meditations that offer each participant
the opportunity for personal healing. Participants
will learn and practice an energetic protocol for
PTSD. Experience with any energy healing
modality is desirable.
Program Objectives
Conference participants will be able to:
1. Increase their capacity to deliver healing energy.
2. Discuss useful and harmful effects of standing
sound waves.
4. Describe the role of the law of resonance
(entrainment) in energy healing.
5. Describe the possible role of magnetic
induction in energy healing.
6. Describe the role of external meridians in
creating the aura and in chronic spiritual pain.
7. Learn 2 healing techniques: Tuning and
Miasms
and a post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD)
protocol.
8. Offer spiritual healing with any energy
healing session.
9. Heal the healer.
Instructor
Vicki Slater, Ph.D., RN, CHTI, AHN-BC has a
private practice in energetic healing and holistic
nursing in Clarksville, TN, and is a certified
Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor, a Third
Degree Reiki Master Teacher, and a Certified
Integrative Hypnotherapist. She is certified in the
Bowen Technique, by Melody’s Crystal Healing
program, Clinical Aromatherapy, and in Holistic
Nursing. She has studied reflexology, craniosacral
therapy, Chinese craniosacral therapy, Qigong, and
INNERSOUND healing. She has been teaching
Healing Touch since 1992. She obtained her
doctorate in nursing from the University of
Tennessee, Knoxville in 1996, after studying the
effects of Healing Touch on chronic nonmalignant
post-operative abdominal pain.
Target Audience
The workshop is aimed toward anyone with
experience delivering healing energy, including
Healing Touch, Polarity, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch,
Qigong, and other energetic modalities. People
without such backgrounds are also welcome.
